LEADERSHIP

Dr. Shah received his doctorate in cellular and molecular physiology from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in 2000.  He completed a post-doctoral fellowship at The Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla, California in 2005.  From there, he joined Abbott Laboratories where he was group leader of a preclinical drug discovery team within Abbott’s cancer research division. Dr. Shah and his family moved west to the greater Seattle area and he joined Eurofins Panlabs where he led a cancer biology team focused on high throughput screening of biological assays to identify genomic vulnerabilities of cancer cells to cancer therapeutics. Dr. Shah has published over 20 peer-reviewed research articles, holds several patents, and brings over 15 years of scientific leadership in a variety of laboratory environments.

Dr. Shah received her doctorate in naturopathic medicine in 2004 from Bastyr University.  She served as scientific advisor for Doctor’s Data, Inc., a clinical laboratory, where she acted as the scientific expert on interpretation of results from stool, hormone, heavy metal, and micronutrient testing. Dr. Shah is owner of Cascade Integrative Medicine, an integrative medicine clinic located in Issaquah, WA that services the greater Seattle area. Cascade Integrative Medicine is comprised of conventional and complementary health care providers, including NDs, MDs, certified nutritionists, acupuncturists, chiropractors, massage therapists, and others who work together under one roof to provide comprehensive health care solutions to patients.
